St. Paul’s Journey in Greece for 7 Days & 6 Nights

In this city, the Apostle Paul visited the Synagogue. He explained Old Testament prophecies to the Jews and Greeks during the three Sabbaths (Acts 17:14). Next, we head to the top of the City Walls, where we can capture a magnificent view of the city. Then, we head to the Vlatodon Monastery, which was built on top of Jason’s house. Overnight in Thessalonica.
This morning we will drive and stop for a group photo in front of The Lion of Amphipolis Statue. The journey continued to Philippi, where the Apostle Paul became a foreigner, worked and founded the church (Acts 16: 9-33). It was to the congregation in this church that the Apostle Paul sent letters in the book of Philippi (Acts 16: 9-33). We will look at the river where Lydia was baptized, the ruins of the prison where Paul and Silas were imprisoned, the Agora and church buildings built in the 5th century and the theatre. Then, we will head to Kavala, an ancient port city of Neapolis (Acts 16:11).
Today’s trip begins with a visit to Berea, where the Apostle Paul visited the Jewish Synagogue, where the Apostle Paul stood and gave his sermons (Acts 17: 10-11). Next, we head to Meteora and visit the Meteora Monastery which displays ancient manuscripts from the 14th century. Overnight in Kalambaka.
Today we will start on a journey to Delphi once called the center of the ancient world ‘Omphalos’. We will visit the Sanctuary of Apollo and the Athenian Treasury, where there is an archaeological museum containing masterpieces from ancient Greek sculptors. After that, we will stop in the city of Livadia and Arachova. Then we will cross the city of Thebes, the city associated with the tragedy of King Oedipus and head towards Athens through Boeotia. Overnight in Athens.
Today we will visit Saronic Bay and head down the historic Corinth Canal to the Ancient Corinth (Acts 18: 1-18). In this place, the Apostle Paul founded the Corinthian Church. In this place, we can visit sites related to the ministry of the Apostle Paul at that time, such as: Agora, Temple of Apollo, Roman Odeon, Bema and Gallio, Archaeological Museum (Rom. 16:23). On our way back to Athens, we will stop at Cynthia to see the ruins of an early Christian church in the fifth century.
The morning will start with the Acropolis Hill to visit the Parthenon and the Erechtheion. After that, we will stop at Mars’ Hill (The Areopagus) (Acts 17:22), where the Apostle Paul preached the gospel in this place. After lunch, we will visit the modern city of Athens and see the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier, Parliament House, Panathenaic Stadium, Temple of Olympian Zeus and National Library of Greece. In the afternoon we will stop at Plaka. Overnight in Athens.
